Its 3km stretch is home to Binibeca Vell in the West through Binibeca Nou and onto Cala Torret to the East.
The entire area is characterised by private white washed villas and apartments. Binibeca is a wonderful quiet resort for those looking for a relaxing holiday.
There is also an option during high season of catching a holiday Train that travels the coast road between Binibeca Vell, Binibeca Nou, Binibeca Torret and Punta Prima, another popular resort.
Binibeca Vell to the west has been developed tastefully over the years with many privately owned villas and apartments. One of the benefits of staying in Binibeca Vell is its small commercial centre that has a great selection of restaurants, bars, supermarkets and souvenir shops. There is also a nightclub in the commercial centre and Chinese restaurant offering takeouts. One of the main attractions to Binibeca Vell is its Menorca styled fishing village designed by Spanish architect Antonio Sintes in 1972 which is a wonderful place to escape the sun and its ideal for families as it’s a traffic free zone.
Binibeca Beach
The beach at binibeca is a beautiful white sandy beach with a gently shelving so it’s ideal for families with smaller children. There is also the famous Los Bucaneros beach bar offering great food and drink. Along with good clean toilet facilities there are also sunloungers, parasols and watercrafts/kayaks available to hire on the beach. For those after some shade there is a picnic area towards the rear. There is easy access for wheelchairs as well as pushchairs to the beach bar and beach.

Defence Tower

This small museum is built within a flour grinding mill that dates back to 1762 when the French ruled Menorca. The museum contains agricultural tools and machinery that was once used to work the land including ploughs, cheese press, black smiths tools, bread kneading machine and an old farmers cart.

Menorca’s history is uncovered in its largest museum; predominately covering menorca’s archaeological past. The museum it self is located in a wonderful 17th century Baroque building used as an old Franciscan monastery. Highlight collections include old coins, pottery dating back to the pretalayótic period. There is also a wonderful collection of paintings and engravinsg from the XVIII and XIX centuries. Opens Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday for limited hours.
Glass Bottom Boat Trips

Along this stretch there is off course numerous fishing boats, yachts and speedboats anchored at the shoreline.
