Alcaufar beach situated on the eastern coast is a small idyllic little cove with soft white sand and gorgeous shallow water. Flanked on both sides of the cove are rugged volcanic peninsula’s with several flattened bathing areas and steps down in the water.
There is a hotel next to the beach with a large restaurant and outside patio area perfect for dining and there is a life quard service. The British built Alcaufar defence tower is within walking distance and well worth a visit.
Alcaufar is a small quiet, relaxing resort where small traditional fishing boats bob up and down.
