The beach at Cala Mitjana located on the South Coast consists of two coves, the main being the beach that has gorgeous soft sand and the other with a very small sandy beach but more so used to sunbath from around the side on the flat rocks.
The water here is stunning turquoise colour and incredibly clear. Perfect for snorkelling!
The beach is a good size and stretches a fair way back. Flanked to the wet high cliffs with pine trees. There are no facilities on the beach so go prepared. The nearest resort is Cala Galdana and the walk is approximately 40mins through a pine wood, however there is also a car park towards the rear with a shorter walk of approximately 20mins again through a pine wood.
For those wishing to explore further the amazing Cala Trebuluger beach is approximately 30 minutes’ walk to the east.
