Santa Agueda Castle Ferreries aside The castle of Santa Agueda is located on Menorca’s third highest point at 264m above sea level. Built by the Arabs as a safehold from danger in approximately 1232 it was the last standpoint before later being destroyed by King Peter IV of Aragon. The walk to the castle ruins and outer wall takes 45minutes via a roman road from Ferreries. Good views at the top of Menorca’s northern coastline.
