Basketball has always been a popular sport in Menorca and it gained popularity when Menorca Basquet entered the Spanish ACB Basketball League in 2004, the second-most important basketball league after the American NBA. Trotting Races

Held in Mao and Ciutadella trotting races are a popular sport in Menorca and have been for over 200 years. The races occur on Saturday night during the summer and Sunday mornings during the winter.

Founded in 1985 by a group of British ex-pats the Menorca cricket club is situated in BiniParrell, 1km from S’Uestra on the road to Llucmassanes. The club welcomes tourists to visit and watch their fixtures between March and October. Clubhouse offers drinks and snacks.
