Son Bou beach is the largest beach in Menorca measuring 3km. Its crystal clear turquoise water with a gentle sloping shelf is perfect for children. The furthest end of the beach is for naturists.
The beach has a good selection of good quality beach bars providing good refreshments either sitting in, or to take away. To the rear of the beach is a large protected wetlands area where many species of wild birds can be seen.
The beach is perfect for swimming, snorkelling or trying some of the water sports on offer, including pedlo hire and banana boat rides. There are several lifeguards posted along the beach to ensure safe bathing and a flag system is in operation.
