There are lots of free things to do in Menorca. For history lovers visit any one of the many beautiful churches or the remains of a roman basilicas. If you have a car the prehistoric Necropolis caves in the North West and the caves at Cala Coves in the South are both free and well worth a visit. There is also a free prehistoric settlement at Binissafullet, where you can see a Taula and Talayot dating back to between 850 and 550 BC.

The traditional Menorca festivals with their dancing horses are spectacular and well worth a visit during the summer months, they are loud, colourful and exciting.

With kids in mind visit one of the many beaches or go on a treasure hunt and try your hand at GeoCaching where you find several caches around the main resorts. Both Mahon port and the port at Ciutadella are also well worth a visit, whether it’s for the luxurious yachts or the individual boutiques selling locally made produce.
