Torre d’en Gaumes

Torre d’en Galmés or (Tore d’en Gaumes) is a Talayotic settlement situated in the south of Menorca. Its situated between Alaior and Son Bou, approximately 5-6km from the holiday resort of Son Bou.

This prehistoric site is bar far the largest in Menorca and has excellent examples of Taula’s, Talayots and houses. Approaching the site is a tourist information building which is well worth a visit as for part of the 3 euro charge you also get to see a 10minute video, which you’ll see the full village reconstructed in cartoon fashion.

From Easter to October
Open Tuesdays to Sunday between 9am – 4pm

From November to Easter
Its free but the information center is closed

Adults – 3€ OAP’s Over 65: 1.80€ Kids under 8: Free

Monday’s Free and from November to Easter its free
