Cap de Favàritx Lighthouse

Situated on the north-east point of the island, Cap de Favàritx lighthouse is active still proving much needed safety to sea-goers as they navigate the north-east coast of Menorca.

The lighthouse was built in 1922 and is an imposing and impressive structure standing at 47 metres with a light range of 16 nautical miles.

The surrounding area of the lighthouse is stunning, with a mix of rugged volcanic rock and slate and not much else. However nearby is the gorgeous Cala Presili beach with beautiful crystal-clear waters.

The lighthouse is not open to the public
