Mahon indoor market

The indoor market in Mahon, Mercat Claustre del Carme is just off Plaça d’Espanya. Adjacent in the magnificent church of Nostra Senyora de carme. The church cloisters have been cleverly converted into a spectacular market. There is a good variety of stores including a butcher, a florist, fruit and vegetable stalls, a tobacconist and a store selling Sobrassada’s.

A well-stocked supermarket is in the basement of the building and there store where you swop your English books or leave them before returning from your holiday.

Open Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays and bank holidays.
