Menorca Cheese Museum

Menorca is famous for its Cheese worldwide being produced by age long traditional processes for over 25 years. The Menorca cheese factory is located 1km from Ferreries. The museum offers tours on how the cheese is made and you can have a free taste of the numerous cheeses that are made there.

The Mahon-Menorca Hort Sant Patrici is made from pasteurized cow’s milk, with rounded edges and corners and range from a mature cheese aged over 8-9 months to light 21 day cheese.

Cheese making takes place at 10am and must be booked in advance.

Winter

Monday – Friday 9am – 1pm / 4pm – 6pm
Saturday 9am – 1pm
Saturday afternoon and sunday closed

Summer

Monday – Saturday 9am – 1.30pm / 4.30pm – 8pm
Sunday closed

Free tour of the cheese museum and small fee for cheese tasting.
