Located on Menorca’s southeastern shores, Binibeca or Binibèquer to the locals has a blend of traditional charm and modern amenities, offering a peaceful holiday destination, away from the bustling tourist hotspots with an authentic taste of Balearic charm.
Binibeca is split into three districts, spread across a walkable three kilometre coastal stretch. Known for its white-washed villas and apartments tastefully built and developed amongst the hillside with spectacular views of the Mediterranean sea, it is a great holiday destination for a relaxing break in the sun.
Binibeca Vell
Situated across a stretch of beautiful coastline, Binibeca Vell offers the greatest range of restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Numerous privately owned villas and apartments are available to rent with the area two hotels. This area is home to the popular tourist attraction a Moroccan inspired Fishermens Village. Adjacent, you will find a tastefully developed building complex with a wide range of restaurants, bars and boutiques selling locally made crafts.

Situated behind Binibeca beach, Binibceca Nou is known for the famous Los Bucaneros beach bar and resturant. It’s a quiet, relaxed district and despite the lack of any restuarants or bars there’s plenty within walking distance in Binibeca Vell or Cala Torret. Lots of villas and apartments are available to rent along the rocky coastline and back across the hillside many with stunning views of the Mediterranean sea.
Cala Torret
Situated on the coast, Cala Torret is the eastern point of Binibeca towards Biniancolla and Punta Prima. Here you’ll find a whitewashed low-rise building development of around 100 apartments, some private and some you can rent. This coastall development faces the sea with access points into the water, great for snorkelling with calms seas. Theres a well stocked supermarket, a handful or restaurants and bars and a bakery that turns into a cocktail bar in the evenings. The tourist information centre for the Binibeca area is located here and a children’s playground next door.
